Llyod’s Obituary Lloyd Wilcox born May 16, 1933 passed away on March 03, 2019 he was the hereditary Chief Medicine Man of the Narragansett Indian Tribe and was the son of hereditary Chief Medicine Man Lawrence Wilcox and Muriel Tattoon Wilcox. He was the brother to Fred Wilcox deceased, Ella Wilcox Sekatau Tribal Medicine Woman Tribal Ethno-Historian deceased, Margare tPeabody deceased, Lawrence Wilcox Jr deceased, Robert Wilcox deceased. He had many nieces and nephews.

He served in the US Army and was an aircraft mechanic, stone mason. His service to the Narragansett Indian Tribe was exemplary and much of what the Narragansett Indian Tribe is today can be directly attributed to his knowledge and efforts to keep the Narragansett Indian Tribe, way of life, history, culture and traditions alive. He is survived by Alberta H. Stanton Wilcox his wife of many years.

He will be buried in a graveside ceremony on the Narragansett Indian Reservation near Charlestown Rhode Island. Services for his funeral will be conducted by now hereditary Chief Medicine Man John Brown Friday 08 March 2019 at 1pm.
