Obituary for Daniel Albert Nelson Daniel Albert Nelson, 81, went to be with our Lord on Thursday, November 8, 2018. There will be a Graveside Service Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Mountain Home Cemetery. Daniel was born May 12, 1937 in Comanche County in Texas.

He married Emma Lou Nelson in November, 1969. He was a member of Church of Christ in Jacksboro, Texas. Daniel loved carving authentic Native American bows and arrows.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Emma Lou Nelson; his parents Gage and Audy Nelson; and his brother Joe Nelson. Those left behind to cherish his memory are his children; Gary Nelson, Jackie Jenkins, Danny Nelson, Diane Merrell, Joel Jenkins, David Nelson, Steve Jenkins, Leigh Ann Jenkins; siblings Gayle Nelson, Don Nelson, Mark Nelson; Grandchildren, Nate Nelson, Mindy Ann Bohon, Wiley Dean Merrell, Keagen Lowey, Ariel Klarmann, Sara Nelson, Maranda Nelson, Drennan Riley; Great Grandchildren, Kinley Ann Bohon and Tripp Taylor.
