Daniel Bruce Coletti, age 70, passed away January 22, 2019 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Born October 8, 1948 in Ogden, Utah to Joseph and Violet Barker Coletti. He also lived in Gulfport Mississippi, Virginia, and Washington D.C. where he graduated from Groveton High School in 1967.

He also played football on the Groveton High football team. He was there when the story behind the movie “Remember the Titans” occurred. Danny had a love for cars and music.

Daniel known by his friends and family as Danny, was a talented musician, singer, and songwriter. One of his most notable songs that was produced in 1981 was “Mississippi Songbird”. At the time he was known as “Danny Peabody” and later as Dan Coletti or D.B Coletti.

He produced the albums “My Favorite Colors” and “Wyoming Sky”. Over the last few years of his life he spent his time writing new songs “God Tags, Fishing With The Man From Galilee, Any Word (written for his Daughter Nicole) and many more. Danny would be found sharing his musical talent by performing at various venues (Gillette’s Got Talent, various nursing homes) in and around the Gillette Wyoming area.

Through his music he would share his love for God and Country and family, bringing joy to those around him. Danny is survived by his children, Micah Joseph (Kimberly), Amos Gabriel (Jennifer), and Crystal Danielle (Mathew) Gray. He is also survived by his siblings, Richard Gary Coletti, Robert Terry (Mary Lou) Coletti, Patricia Ann (Kenneth) Oliver, Jeffrey Lynn (Deanne) Coletti, and Debra Lynn (Larry) Dunning.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Nicole Maria Coletti, and both his parents. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, January 25, 2019 at the Green Park Ward, 1929 West 1500 North, Lehi, Utah with the viewing to begin at 11:30 am. Interment to be held at a later date at the Ben Lomond Cemetery, North Ogden, Utah.
