Born April 28, 1932 and passed away peacefully with her granddaughter and son by her side on January 10, 2019, in her room at Country Oaks Assisted Living. Shirley enjoyed being outdoors and loved digging for rocks. She had a true love for all animals and spent many years volunteering at animal shelters.

She is preceded in death by her husbands, David Parmele (2017), Gary Grover (2003), and Thomas Owens. She is survived by her son Jeffery Owens; former daughter-in-law, Shaunna Goldberry; her daughter, Kathryn Thompson (Scott); former son-in-law, Paul Lusky (Leigh); grandchildren, Samantha Jones (Daniel); Frederic Lusky and his long-time girlfriend, KC Moran; great-granddaughter, Nacana Jones; and her dog, Mr. Peanut. The family would like to thank the staff at Country Oaks Assisted Living and Summit Home Health and Hospice for the time, care, and love of Shirley.

Per Shirley’s request no formal services will be held.
