DANIEL CASTANON February 08, 1962 – March 17, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Upload Photo| Send Sympathy Card Daniel Castanon, born February 8, 1962 to parents Jose Castanon and Josefina Perez, entered into eternal rest March 17, 2019 at the age of 57. Daniel was preceded in death by his father, Jose Castanon and mother, Josephine P. Castanon. He is survived by his wife, Gloria M. Castanon; sons, Eddie, Baby Dan (Rachel), Daniel and Jason; daughters, Frances, Trini (Omar), Felicia, Marylou, Tiffany (Jose), Tina and Janie; brothers, Anthony, Mike, Joe, Victor and Able; sisters, Rosita, Elvira, Hilda and Tina; and 24 grandchildren.

Daniel, also affectionately known as “Goose”, and Gloria had been together for 33 years, and married 9 years. He enjoyed classic rock and tejano music, and he loved to dance. Daniel would always provide for his family by looking and finding jobs.

He enjoyed watching football and cheering for his favorite team, the Pittsburgh Steelers and Longhorns. He loved his family. At the end of everyday he would enjoy his adult beverage on a daily basis.

He will be dearly missed by all his family and friends. The family invites you to come celebrate and honor a wonderful life lived. Funeral services are as follows: Friday – March 29, 2019: Visitation 4-9pm at Texas Funeral Home Chapel, 2702 Castroville Rd.

, San Antonio, Texas 78237, will a religious service at 7pm. Saturday – March 30, 2019: Family and friends will meet at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1321 El Paso Street, San Antonio, Texas 78207, for a 10am Mass.
