Obituary for Daniel Clifton “Dan” Lewis LEWIS, Mr. Daniel Clifton “Dan” – age 83, passed away, Friday, May 18, 2018 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital Oakland. Family hour 10:30AM Thursday, May 24, 2018 from New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, 174 Branch St., with funeral service commencing immediately at 11:00 AM. Pastor Keyon S. Payton, Officiating.

Interment Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 N. Belford Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 10:30 AM Thursday. Mr. Lewis will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 268 N. Perry St. and may be viewed from 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM Wednesday.

Mr. Lewis leaves to cherish his memory: wife, Bobbie Lewis; children, Donna (Lennard) Hollis and Michael Lewis; grandchildren, Clifton D. Lewis, Charles (Demetria) Lewis and Carlton D. Lewis; great grandchildren, Jaylen, Trevion, Tamarionna, Ahnari and Caiden Lewis; and other relatives and friends. Mr. Lewis was preceded in death by his parents, Lottie and George Lewis; and siblings, Rebecca Louise Beard, Mary Imogene Lewis, Billy Goodman, George William and Joe Lewis.
