OBITUARY Daniel “Dan” Harrell August 20, 1931 – October 26, 2018 Daniel “Dan” Harrell, age 87, of Montevallo went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 26, 2018 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center. He was a Baptist preacher and missionary, travelling as far as the Philippines with his wife. He was a member of Aldrich Baptist Church.

Dan loved Jesus and he wanted all his family to love him too. He was also a 33rd degree Mason at Central Lodge 70. He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Helen Harrell and his son, Danny Harrell.

Dan’s surviving relatives are his daughters, Tithie Hall (Allen) and Marie Segers (Leon); son, Timothy Harrell (Maria); sister, Angeline Fancher; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 28, 2018 from 4:00 until 6:00 PM at Rockco Funeral Home (Montevallo). His funeral service will be held on Monday, October 29, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Rockco Funeral Home (Montevallo).

Rev. Dennis Draper will be officiating the service. Burial will be at the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo at 12:30 PM.
