OBITUARY Thelma Hamm Rowe January 10, 1927 – November 16, 2018 Thelma H. Rowe, age 91, of Montevallo, Alabama, passed away November 16, 2018. She was a devoted wife and mother; a wonderful cook and gardener; an avid reader; and an animal lover. She especially loved teaching children at Providence Baptist Church for 35 years and singing in the choir.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Rowe; son, Darrell Rowe; daughter-in-law, Vicki Rowe; parents, Bruce and Emma Hamm; sister, Sarah Dobbs; and sister-in-law, Evelyn Hamm; and her very special aunt, Florine McAvoy. She is survived by her sons, David Arlen Rowe (Billie), Jerry Bruce Rowe (Gladys), Farrell Keith Rowe; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brother, John Hamm; and a host of nieces and nephews. Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Providence Baptist Church in Montevallo.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM and burial will follow at Providence Cemetery.
