Daniel’s Obituary Daniel Guzman, 90, of Sandown, NH, died at High Pointe House on Monday March 4, 2019. Born in Havana, Cuba, he was the son of the late Lorenzo and Maria (Nuñez) Guzman. Growing up he worked on a farm before immigrating to America where he worked as a mechanic for many years at Malden Mills in Lawrence, MA.

While raising his family there, they would attend Mass every Sunday at Holy Rosary Church. He also owned the Copper Kettle restaurant. He moved from Lawrence to Sandown in 2005.

Daniel was a devoted, husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, his family being the most important part of his life. He enjoyed playing dominoes, billiards, and was a big Red Sox fan. He will sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sons, Daniel Guzman, Jr. of Sandown, Roberto Guzman and his wife Tina of Sandown, daughters Margarita Healy and her husband Michael of Sandown, Beatriz Dick of Plaistow, Cary Hughes and Daniel Hickey of Sandown, brother Jesus Guzman of Methuen, sister Leoner Belo of Florida, fourteen grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

Predeceased by his wife Nereira (Vega) Guzman, two brothers and two sisters. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to calling hours on Friday March 8, 2019 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Brookside Chapel and Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH. His funeral will begin on Saturday at 10:15 a.m. from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. in All Saints Church, 120 Bellevue Avenue, Haverhill.

Burial to follow at Blossom Hill Cemetery, 207 N State St, Concord, NH 03301.
