Daniel “Hungry” Snyder, 65, of South Haven, passed away May 13, 2019 at the Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center. Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at the Shelley Family Funeral Home in Wellington. No visitation is scheduled.

In lieu of flowers a memorial has been set up to help with funeral expenses and may be left with the Shelley Family Funeral Home 704 N. Washington, Wellington, KS 67152. Daniel Clay Snyder was born August 1, 1953, the son of Henry and Francine (Lance) Snyder in Caldwell, KS. He attended Mulvane High School.

Daniel served his country in the US Army from 1971-1974. On August 1, 2014 he was united in marriage to Sue Ann Turner. Daniel worked as a material manager at Oxwell in Wellington for 28 years and did some over the road trucking.

He enjoyed fishing and hunting. Daniel is survived by his wife, Sue of the home; son, Steven Snyder of South Haven; aunts: Marjy Cottle, Jo Anne Pritchett and Gayle Snyder Fox. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Dennis Snyder.
