Obituary for Daniel M. Lauritano Daniel M. Lauritano, 75 of Bulls Head, passed away on July 6, 2018, at his home. Born December 17, 1942 in Brooklyn, New York, he was the son of the late Anthony Lauritano and the late Anna Valente Lauritano. Daniel was the lead guitarist in the Brooklyn Band, Phil Anthony & the Wanderers, where he played in various clubs and weddings for over 15 years.

His love of music always stayed with him and led him to become Frank Sinatra’s biggest fan. Daniel worked for the NYC Department of Sanitation for 15 years before retiring. He was an avid collector of Lionel Trains – not only did he love displaying his collection but loved to run them as well.

Daniel was a devoted husband for 53 years to Catherine. He always provided for his family, especially for his daughter Laura Lauritano-Maida. He loved and cherished his grandchildren, Lauren Rainero, Leandra Maida and Catherine Maida.

He was also the adored great grandfather to Lacey, Jason, and Louis. He was the true definition of a family man. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 AM on Monday at Holy Rosary Church located at 80 Jerome Ave Staten Island, New York 10305.
