Obituary for Daniel M. Monty Daniel M. Monty 63, passed away Tuesday morning December 18th at his home in Schenectady. Born in Niskayuna, Daniel was the son of the late Joyce (Wood) Monty and William Monty Sr. (Beverly) of Schenectady. Dan attended Mohonasen High School, and worked for many years as a Truck Driver prior to his retirement from BBX Transportation in Rotterdam.

He was also a Tax preparer with the Tax Dogs for many years. A member of the Rotterdam Elks Club, Dan loved spending time with his family. Beside his father, Daniel is survived by his beloved wife Patricia (Hoefs) Monty who he married in 1989, his daughters; Danielle Monty of Schenectady, Jennifer Harris (Coreen) of Colonie, Tiffany Romero (Jason) of Clifton Park and Courtney Monty (Adam) of Schenectady, his siblings, twin brother David Monty (Noreen) of Westerlo, William Monty Jr. (Kathy) of Florida, Dawn Diamond (Al) of Florida and Karen Parker of Schenectady, his 9 cherished grandchildren; Alize, Dajour, Elycia, Dasia, Cassidy, Adrianna, Julia, Amariya and Christian and his several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Daniels life will be held on Thursday evening December 27th from 4 to 6 pm at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave. , Schenectady, NY.
