Daniel Nilsen, age 74, was born October 1, 1943 to parents Lauritz and Anna Aseena (Anderson) Nilsen. Daniel went home to be with his Lord and savior Jesus Tuesday, July 3, 2018. All throughout his life Daniel was busy, passionate and could light up any room with his infectious smile and laugh.

Whether you knew him only a minute or decades, Daniel is one soul you will never forget. He has made a lasting impression on each person he came into contact with. Many remember Daniel riding around Bellingham with his pink bike helmet and basket on one of his many bicycles, or have given him a dollar for coffee.

He may have made a song about your nose up, told you how ‘good lookin’ you are or even told you that ‘you can’t have a honey if you don’t got no money. ’ However you remember Daniel, one thing is for sure. You will never forget him.

He is survived by a vast family of friends, relatives and care staff.
