Daniel was born to Daniel and Yolanda (Perez) Rivera on August 20, 1969 in Alice, Texas.

At the age of 5, he found his love and passion for singing. As he grew older, he made that love and passion a reality as he became a musician. He and his brothers formed a band called Los Hermanos Rivera.

He loved his music. He was a people person, always smiling, laughing, and telling jokes. He was a hard worker.

He would go to church and read his bible everyday where his faith in God grew. He loved his family very much. He will be remembered as a bright, shining light in the various communities and churches he served.

May he Rest in Peace. He was preceded in death by his brother Robert Rivera. Survivors: Parents: Yolanda Rivera of Alice, Tx.

McCalia Balboa of Alice, Tx. 8 Grandchildren And numerous other family and friends who will miss him dearly. Visitation will be held on Thursday February 14, 2019 from 4 pm to 9 pm with a prayer service starting at 7 pm at the Roberson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Frank McCarley officiating.

Services to be held Friday February 15, 2019 at 10 am at the Roberson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Frank McCarley officiating. Burial will follow in New Collins Cemetery. Services entrusted to Roberson Funeral Home of Alice, Tx.
