Beloved husband of Carol Sparks. Loving father of Jeremy Sparks Sr. and the late Mark Stahl. Loving father-in-law of Traci Sparks.

Dear brother of Eddie (Naomi) Sparks, Sandy (the late Fred) Sweet, Rodney (Joann) Sparks, Larry (Jim) Sparks, Greg Sparks, Dave (Sharon) Sparks, Kenneth Sparks, Lois Piotrasch, Debbie (Arno) Sparks, and Janet (the late Tim) Stromski. Dearest grandfather of Jeremy Sparks Jr., Alyssa (Ryan) Rodak, and Laurel Sparks. Caring uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Daniel was preceded in death by his parents Edgar and Darlene Sparks, and his sister Mona. He was a hardworking man who enjoyed spending time with family, especially his grandchildren and his rescue dogs. Daniel will be deeply missed by many loving family and friends.

Visitation Tuesday, May 28, 2019 from 2-8 p.m. at the Taylor Chapel of Voran Funeral Home, 23750 Goddard Road. (313) 291-1800. Funeral service Wednesday, May 29, 2019 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

Interment will take place following the funeral at Romulus Memorial Cemetery. Donations may be made to American Cancer Society. Please share memories and leave condolences on Daniel’s online guestbook.
