Beloved husband of Jenann Connolly. Loving father of Stephen (Maryann) Connolly, Julie (Timothy) Blackwood and Thomas Connolly. Dearest grandfather of David, Jacob, Michael and Katie.

Dear brother of Denis (Catherine) Connolly, Kathleen (Late George) Peck and Patricia (Ronald) Anderson. He was preceded in death by Sandra Connolly, his parents Patrick & Margaret Connolly and his sister Mary Connolly. John will be deeply missed by family and friends.

Visitation Thursday, May 16, 2019 from 1- 8 p.m. at the Dearborn Chapel of Voran Funeral Home, 23701 Ford Road. (313) 278-5100. In state Friday 9:30 a.m. with a 10:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection to follow at Church of the Divine Child, 1055 N. Silvery Lane, Dearborn.

A memorial service will be held at Catholic Central at a later date. Donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Friends for Animal of Metro Detroit. Please share memories or leave condolences on John’s guestbook.
