Daniel Thomas Haertling, 16 of Springfield passed away Thursday, February 7, 2019 in Dayton. He was born May 9, 2002 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Beau and Sandra Haertling. Daniel was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He enjoyed watching Batman and Spiderman movies along with watching Dragon Ball Z on tv. He was a life scout and liked to go fishing every chance he got. Daniel is survived by his parents, maternal grandparents, Martin and Maureen Law, paternal grandparents, Ronald and Cheryl Haertling, three siblings, Emma Larea Haertling, Nathan Wayne Haertling, Isaac Joseph Haertling, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A funeral service will be conducted 10:00 am Saturday, February 16, 2019 in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Springfield. Burial will follow the service in Enon Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 9:00 am to 10:00 am prior to the service in the church.
