Daniel W. “Whitey” Frank, 90, of Moline, died Friday, May 4, 2018, at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 8, 2018, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation will be from noon until service time at the funeral home.

Military honors will be conducted. Burial will be at Moline Memorial Park. Whitey was born on April 19, 1928, in Raymond, IL.

He married Georgia Hesseltine Wisely on June 30, 1960, in Preston, MN. She preceded him in death on April 17, 1996. Whitey worked as the cupilo set up man with John Deere Plow Planter for twenty-six years, retiring in the early 1990’s.

He was a Korean War veteran serving in the Army. Whitey enjoyed camping and fishing. He also liked to watch baseball and playing cards with his sweetheart, Nancy, and her sisters.

Survivors include his children, Cynthia (Ed) Hawn, Sherman, IL; Victor (Stephanie) Frank, Moline; 7 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and his sweetheart, Nancy Jones, Colona. He was preceded in death by his wives; son, Donald; 8 brothers and 2 sisters.
