Obituary of Daniel Plante Daniel J. Plante, 56, of Brookfield, beloved husband of Amy (Bowen) Plante, died peacefully at Regional Hospice in Danbury on Thursday, April 19, 2018. He was born in Hartford on June 17, 1961, the cherished son of Emilio and Pierrette (Lisee) Plante, of Danbury. He was a graduate of Henry Abbott Tech.

Danny worked for many years in siding and roofing for Lisee Home Improvements. He loved classic cars, quads, gardening and spending time with his family and his dog. He will be remembered for his great ability to find humor in even the most difficult times.

In addition to his wife of 27 years, Amy, and his parents, Emilio and Pierrette, he will be sadly missed by his two sons, Jean-Luc Plante and Jacques Plante along with Jacques’ fiancé, Alex Bottelsen; his sister, Nancy Ashe and her husband, Ed; sister-in-law Stacey Smith and her husband, Tom; brother-in-law Scott Bowen and his wife, Maggie and his nieces, Monique, Desiree, Katie, Abby, Mandy, Hannah and Becky; his nephew Michael; and his mother-in-law, Nancy Bowen. He was predeceased by his father-in-law, Duane Bowen. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 27th at 11:00am at St. Gregory the Great Church in Danbury.

Cremation and interment will take place privately. The family will receive friends on Friday morning at the church between 10:00am and 10:45am. Memorial Contributions in his memory may be made to Regional Hospice and Palliative, or to the American Cancer Society.
