Obituary of Heather Antedomenico Heather J. Antedomenico, 79, of Danbury, beloved wife of Neil D. Antedomenico, died peacefully on Sunday, July 1, 2018, at Yale New Haven Hospital. She was born in Detroit, MI on March 4, 1939, daughter of the late Douglas and Jeanne (McCully) MacCrae-Gray. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister.

She worked as a clerk for Costco for many years, and had also enjoyed working for Family and Children’s Aid in Danbury. Heather was a faithful Christian woman who devoted herself to sharing Christ’s love with others. She was a past member of the Black Rock Congregational Church and Grace Community Church.

She, along with Neil, was a founding member of Walnut Hill Community Church, where she was active in many areas of church life. She was a past member of the Christian Woman’s Club, holding several board positions and taking part in fashion shows, banquets, and other service oriented activities. She enjoyed handing out Bibles as a member of Gideon’s International, where she served as a past president of the Danbury Camp and also gave administrative support on the State level.

Heather loved animals and was a past member of the Kennel Club. She fondly remembered raising Collies for show in her younger years. In all aspects of her life, devotion to her family, her community, and her brothers and sisters in Christ was most important to her.

In addition to her cherished husband of 49 years, Neil, she will be sadly missed by her four children, Tammy J.G. Baker and her husband, Stephen, David Antedomenico and his wife, Carol, Christian and Heath Antedomenico; her ten grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and her brother, Glenn MacCrae-Gray. She was predeceased by her brother Graham. A Memorial Service will be held at Walnut Hill Community Church on Friday, July 6th at 2:00pm.

The family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Thursday between the hours of 4:00 to 7:00pm. Memorial Contributions in her memory may be made to Gideon’s International or to the Humane Society.
