Obituary of Anna Rao Mrs. Anna (DosSantos) Rao, age 90, of Charlotte, N.C., formerly of Danbury, died Saturday November 24, 2018 at the Caramont Regional Hospital in Mount Holly, N.C. She was the widow of Vincent Rao. Mrs. Rao was born October 23, 1928 in Taunton, MA, daughter of the late Antonio and Delores (Bernardino) DosSantos.

She was retired as a bookkeeper. She worked at Hunt’s Plumbing in Danbury, Bohan’s Curtains in Danbury and Resamney Mill in Bethel, and was a communicant of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Danbury. Mrs. Rao is survived by her son: Carmen Rao and his wife Judy of N.C. and 2 granddaughters Jenna Murphy and her husband Chris and Lindsay Rao and fiancé Reuben Bassett and 3 great grandchildren Leah, Brynn, and Emma Murphy and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday December 3, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Danbury. Relatives and friends are asked to please meet directly at the church. Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery in Danbury.
