Obituary of Nancy-Lou Schulze Nancy-Lou Schulze of Danbury, age 78, passed away peacefully on Wednesday November 7, 2018 at River Glen Health Care Center in Southbury after a courageous battle with cancer. Nancy-Lou was born August 8, 1940 in Waterbury to the late Harris and Gertrude Neal. She will be reunited in heaven with her beloved husband, Howard Schulze, DDS.

Nancy-Lou was filled with love that extended to her family, church, community, friends and neighbors. She was a proud member of the Danbury Garden Club and an honorary member of the Danbury Lion’s Club. Nancy-Lou took great pride each year in decorating a Christmas tree to be raffled off during the Festival of Trees that benefited Ann’s Place in Danbury which provides comfort, support and res to people and their families living with cancer.

Nancy-Lou enjoyed many years of traveling to Oqunquit, Maine with her husband and friends. She loved flowers, gardening and golf. She was also known for making the best cheesecakes and snicker-doodles!

Favorite times included cooking for her family, especially for the holidays. Nancy-Lou will be sadly missed by her brother Bud of Woodbury and several nieces, nephews, close friends and neighbors. In addition to her husband and parents, Nancy-Lou was also predeceased by her brother, Leslie Neal of Woodbury.

A Memorial Service will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 18 Clapboard Ridge Rd. , Danbury at 11:00am on Tuesday November 20, 2018. In memory of Nancy-Lou’s life, please consider a donation to the American Cancer Society, 1075 Chase Parkway #4, Waterbury, CT 06708 (www.
