Obituary of Daniel Ashley Sr. Danbury – Mr. Daniel Ashley, Sr., age 60, of Danbury, died Wednesday January 9, 2019 at the Western Rehabilitation Center in Danbury. Mr. Ashley was born December 1, 1958 in Danbury son of the late Robert and Violet (Tawyea) Ashley. Mr. Ashley is survived by his children: Melissa Ashley of New Fairfield, Daniel Ashley, Jr. of Waterbury and Laura Banks of Bethel; his companion, Sheila Sendewicz; his siblings, Kenneth Ashley, Gail Ashley and Brian Ashley, all of Danbury; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his brothers: Patrick and Robert Ashley. The family will receive friends on Tuesday January 15, 2019 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White St. Danbury. Graveside funeral services and burial will be held at St. Peter’s Cemetery in Danbury at the convenience of the family.
