Obituary of Robert Moore Seymour – Mr. Robert Smith Moore, age 88, of Seymour, formerly of Wallingford, died Thursday November 22, 2018 at Shady Knoll Health Care Center in Seymour. He was the husband of Erica (Seibert) Moore. Mr. Moore was born December 7, 1929 in Norwalk, son of the late Shannon Leo and Mildred (Smith) Moore.

He was retired from Perkin Elmer where he worked in engineering for 35 years. He enjoyed sailing and vacationing on Cape Cod. Mr. Moore graduated Kings Point Merchant Marine Academy and proudly served his country as a member of the Merchant Marines.

In addition to his wife Erica, Mr. Moore is survived by his sons: Brad Moore and his wife Dawn of Brookfield and Paul Moore of Eugene, Oregon, also step-daughter: Mary Jackson of Versailles, Kentucky, 7 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister: Eleanor Ward. Private funeral services and burial in Central Cemetery in Brookfield will be held at the convenience of the family.
