DANNY R. BARGER, 75, of Parker passed away Friday evening (02-08-19) at VNA In-Patient Hospice of Butler. Born in Perry Two. , Clarion Co. on April 13, 1943, he was the son of the late Jacob and Rachel McElwain Barger.

He attended Allegheny-Clarion Valley High School, and was affiliated with the Church of God during his lifetime. Dan was retired from the former Glass Containers Corp. of Parker at the time of plant closing.

He is survived by his wife, the former Marsha Texter whom he married on Nov. 17, 1967 in Winchester, VA. ; a daughter Kimberly “Kim” (Jim) Rozum of Kennerdell; a son Danny (Jill) Barger of New Castle; four grandchildren: Keshia and Tyler Griffin, and Alex and Miranda Barger; one great grandson: Jameson McLaughlin; one brother Jim Barger of Titusville In addition to his parents, Dan was preceded in death by the following siblings: Nira Belle Pennington, Bonnie Hahn, Pauline Sabich, Ruby Barger, Jean Preston, Nancy Kriebel, Dennis “Denny” Barger, and Jerry “Tink” Barger.
