OBITUARY Danny Wayne Rowlett January 30, 1949 – January 26, 2019 Danny Wayne Rowlett passed away on January 26, 2019 in Nacogdoches, Texas. He was born on January 30, 1949 in Nacogdoches, Texas to parents, Walter M. Rowlett and Mary Simmons Rowlett. Danny proudly served his country in the United States Navy.

He retired after 32 years of service from Memorial Hospital with plant operations. Danny was a member of the Congregation Methodist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, J.B. Rowlett, Larry Rowlett and Charles Rowlett.

Survivors include: wife, Bridgett Rowlett; daughter, Celeste Engle and husband Lee of Nacogdoches; son, Jason Rowlett and wife Liz of Nacogdoches; step-sons, Nick Potter and wife Angela of Little Elm; Shane Potter and wife Christine of Rosenburg, Will Potter and wife Kara of Denver, Colorado; grandchildren, Hayden Engle and wife Harlie, Michael Engle, Alaina Potter, Tyler Potter, Ashleigh Potter, Haley Potter; great-granddaughter, Hadlie Engle; sisters, Marie Yarborough and husband Walt of Nacogdoches, Gladys Veuleman of Nacogdoches, Louise Odom of Las Cruces, New Mexico; brothers, Robert Rowlett and wife Ligia Baca of Baytown, Raymond Rowlett and wife Pat of Nacogdoches; sister-in-law, Vivian Rowlett of Teague, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held, 2:00 PM, Tuesday, January 29, 2019, Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel. Interment will follow at Rock Springs Cemetery.

The family will receive friends, Monday, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors, Nacogdoches, Texas. FAMILY He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, J.B. Rowlett, Larry Rowlett and Charles Rowlett.
