Darlene A. Beresik Engel, 75, of Belle Vernon, passed away Friday, May 17, 2019 at Haven Crest Nursing Home, Carroll Twp. Born May 21, 1943 in N. Charleroi, PA she was the daughter of the late Joseph S. and Mary Teplican Beresik. A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon, Mrs. Engel was a member of St. Sebastian R.C. Church was a homemaker, member of the Belle Vernon Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 209 and was an avid bingo player.

She is survived by her son & daughter in law David & Mandy Engel of Belle Vernon and is preceded in death by her husband Charles Joseph Engel and brother Jospeh A. Beresik Visitation will be held Sunday from 5-8 PM at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183. Prayers of Transfer will be held Monday at 9:30 am in the funeral home followed by funeral mass at 10:00 am at St. Sebastian R.C. Church with the Rev. Elmer Alforque as celebrant.

Interment will take place in Monongahela Cemetery. Members of the Belle Vernon Fire Department will pay their respects Sunday at 7 pm in the funeral home.
