Darlene A. Sampson, age 62, of Underwood, Iowa passed away at her home on November 10, 2018. She was born in Council Bluffs on January 20, 1956 to the late Harlin and Margaret (Markey) Hurd. Darlene graduated from Underwood High School with the class of 1974.

Darlene is survived by her husband, Wayne Sampson; children, Celine Simonsen (Bryan), Nyla Paulsen (Mark), Kevin Sampson (Lacey), Dan Sampson (Courtney); sisters, Marilyn Rehling (Mike), Carol Busch (Bill), Kathleen Busch… Read More » (Dick), Janice Young (Jack), Sharon Shaw (Jim), Eileen Pierce, Margaret Sampson (Joe), Nancy Gregory (Bob); brother, John Hurd (Deb); 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other family and friends. Viewing and visitation is 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home.
