Hazel E. Clark Carta, age 89, of Council Bluffs, Iowa passed away October 24, 2018. She was born in Missouri Valley, Iowa on July 24, 1929 to the late Kenneth and Joyce (Skelton) Hoyt. She was active in American Business Womens, Altrusa, and Senior bowling leagues at Thunderbowl.

She retired from First National Brokerage, in Omaha, in 1993. She also worked part time in the jewelry department at Dillard’s and in the office at Sears. Hazel is survived by her sons, Richard (Beverly) Clark, Kenneth (Mary) Clark; daughter, Roberta Clark; sister, Nellie Clark; brother, Jack (Deanna) Hoyt; grandchildren, Christine (Shawn) Watkins, Kelly Clark (Melissa), Logan Clark, Tiffany Clark, Tara (Steven) Sliger, Tori (Tyler) Trelles, Cameron Schnaible; 5 great grandchildren. Private family services were held.
