OBITUARY Darlene Cafiero November 2, 1958 – January 24, 2019 Uncasville-Darlene M. Cafiero, age 60, of Uncasville, passed away on January 24, 2018, at William W. Backus Hospital in Norwich. She was born on November 2, 1958 in Bronx, NY to the late Karl and Theresa (Uhlig) Zatorski. Darlene’s greatest love was spending time with her grandchildren and family.

She loved being on the water, especially taking cruises and visiting her favorite island of St. Thomas. She also enjoyed dolphins and anything Disney. Darlene’s hobbies include knitting, sewing and coloring in adult coloring books.

She was a former member of the organization RSD. She is survived by her loving husband Ken Cafiero of Uncasville, a son Steven Cafiero and his wife Crystal of Missouri, a son Keith Cafiero and his wife Kathy of Norwich, a daughter Kimberly Frechette and her husband Daniel of Moosup and grandchildren Matthew Cafiero, Michael Cafiero, Madalyn Cafiero, Kayliana Cafiero, Natalie Frechette, and Donovan Frechette. She also leaves behind her dog “Zeus” and her ferret “Bandit”.

Family and friends may visit Montville Funeral Home of Church and Allen, 53 Norwich New London Tpke. , Uncasville on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the funeral home. Please visit www.
