Ms. Darlene M. Hall, age 66, of Opelika, Alabama passed away on Sunday, June 3rd, 2018 at her daughter’s residence in Valley, Alabama. Ms. Hall was born in Phenix City, Alabama on September 18th, 1951 to the late Robert David May and Pricilla Alice Lucinda Jones May. She was preceded in death by her son, Anthony Shane Hurst.

Ms. Hall was a homemaker for most of her life. She enjoyed reading and she loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ms. Hall is survived by her daughters, Peggy F. Hurst, Valley; Melody R. (Ashley) Baker, Pell City; sisters, Sheila Hadaway, Charlotte Prosser; grandchildren, Brandi Darlene (Josh) Johnson, Chasity Starr (Sean) Nivens, Katie Alexandria Hurst, Pricilla Diane Cunningham, Bailey Sian Baker, Justin Alexander Hall; 5 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 5th, 2018 at 2:00P.M. EDT at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley with the Reverend Phillip Doss officiating. Her family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1:00P.M. EDT until the service hour. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that potted plants be sent or that memorials be made in her memory to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation.
