Darrell Eugene Leslie, Jr., age 46, of Evansville, IN, passed away at 1:10 p.m. on Thursday, November 29, 2018, at Deaconess Midtown Hospital. Darrell was born October 2, 1972, in Evansville, IN, to Darrell Leslie, Sr. and Linda (Holsapple) Leslie. He graduated from Castle High School in 1991 and Cum Laude from Ball State University with a Bachelor Degree in Psychology and a Master Degree in Wellness.

Darrell was an extra in the movie “A League of Their Own” and enjoyed sharing stories about Tom Hanks and Madonna. Darrell enjoyed spending time with his family, especially watching movies with his nieces and nephew. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed pranking others.

Darrell volunteered at Outreach Ministries and was a friend of Bill W. He also enjoyed traveling and his time spent living in Los Angeles. Darrell is survived by his parents; sister, Cathie Beard (Mark); nieces, Halie and Kelsie Beard; nephew, Jakeb Beard; and grandmothers, Joan Holsapple and Ruby Leslie. He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Maurice Holsapple and Roy Leslie, Sr. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, December 3, 2018 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue.

Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., Monday, December 3, 2018 at BOONE FUNERAL HOME EAST CHAPEL.
