Darrin Scot Hollingsworth, 49, Freelandville, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2018. Darrin was born August 22, 1969, in Vincennes, the son of Butch Lloyd and Bernettia Mae (Davis) Hollingsworth. He was an auto repairman and a truck driver.

He was a member of the Mariah Creek Christian Church. Darrin is survived by his mother, Bernettia Hollingsworth of Freelandville; sister, Audrey (Alan) Lowe of Naperville, IL; niece, Madelyne Lowe; several aunts and uncles; godmother, Vonda Osborn of Loogootee; and his best friend Troy Groteguth of Freelandville. He was preceded in death by his father, Butch Hollingworth.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Bethel Cemetery with Pastor Matt Hoffman officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mariah Creek Christian Church. Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Home Bicknell Chapel assisted the family with arrangements.
