It is with great sadness the family of Darryl S. Trent, 64, announce, after a brief illness his passing on May 11, 2019. Darryl was predeceased by his parents, Henry and Esther Trent, two brothers, Henry Thomas Trent and Clyde Allen Trent, Sr. And a niece, Kimberly Saunders. Darryl was a graduate of William Fleming High School, Roanoke, VA where he played high school sports including basketball, football and track.

He also played the trombone in the high school band. He was a member of the U S Army from 1977 – 1984 working in motor transportation. After serving our country, he worked in the security field and as a line cook at Bowling Air Force Base for many years.

He loved jogging watching sports, listening to R & B and spending time on the beach. He also enjoyed attending church and was a member of Saint Joseph’s Church, in Petersburg, VA. Darryl will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 34 years, Pamela Trent ; son, Jason Trent, sibling, Pearl Saunders (Sterling), Kathryn Trent, Tania Trent of Roanoke, Va and Anthony Trent of Augusta, GA; a host of nieces and nephews.
