Darwin’s Obituary Darwin Miller, 82, of Ackley, passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2019 at Grand JiVante in Ackley. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at the Sietsema Funeral Home in Ackley with burial in Oakwood Cemetery. Darwin Miller was born on May 20, 1936 in Franklin County, Iowa to Daniel and Elfrieda (Kloetzer) Miller.

Darwin was a farmer and enjoyed hunting, fishing and trapping. He was united in marriage to Sharon Jackson and they later divorced. He is survived by his mother Elfrieda, his sons James (Lisa) Miller of Iowa Falls and Daniel (Jane) Miller of Hudson, his grandchildren Sage, Jamie and Chelsea Miller and his siblings Scott Miller of Ackley, Jackie (Virgil) Klahsen of Ackley and his sister Joan (Larry) Ehrig of Waterloo.

He was preceded in death by his father, his son Dart, granddaughter Shelby Miller and his sister Margery Miller.
