David A. Ramel, age 69 years, of Random Lake found peace on February 15, 2019 at his home surrounded by his loving family. David was born on June 6, 1949 in Sheboygan to Allen and Mildred Ramel (Heisler). He was united in marriage to Carole Reinders on February 1, 1969.

David graduated from Random Lake High School in 1967 and enlisted with the United States Army. He served overseas in Germany as a member of the Air Defense from 1969 – 1971. David enjoyed fishing and viewing wildlife.

Most of all he loved spending time with his wife, Carole. Those David leaves behind to cherish his memory include his wife of 50 years, Carole; 3 sons, Glen Ramel, Scott Ramel and Adam (Brittney Falk) Ramel; grandson, Michael; and sister, Nancy (Steve) Gross. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Allen and Mildred Ramel. At David’s request no formal services will be held. David’s family extends their heartfelt appreciation to the staff at Aurora at Home for the loving care they provided.
