David A. Petersen, age 67, of Annandale died Monday, November 26, 2018 at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids with his loving wife by his side. Private Interment will take place at Pleasant View Cemetery near Annandale at a later date. David Allen Petersen was born October 10, 1951 in Minneapolis to Ralph and Patricia (Brooks) Petersen.

He graduated from Richfield High School with the Class of 1970. On May 11, 1985, he was united in marriage to Nancy Cassellius at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Annandale. He worked for Aero Drapery in Burnsville for many years; he retired on February 6, 2014.

Dave enjoyed hunting, especially for deer and duck. He loved his winters with Nancy in Arizona. He is survived by his wife Nancy of Annandale; father Ralph Petersen of Annandale; sister Sherol (Al) Farmer of Minneapolis; brother Wayne (Kathy) Petersen of San Antonio, TX; mother-in-law Dolores Harder of Annandale; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Sue and Mike Carlson of Brooklyn Park, Joe and Diane Cassellius of Annandale, Margaret and Tim Pummel of Littleton, CO, Julia and Keith Harding of Maple Lake, Mary Cassellius and Larry Grace of Peoria, AZ, Jacquie and Dave Ahsenmacher of Annandale and Cathy and Bob Bergemann of Cokato; special niece and caregiver Nicole Neutz; and many nieces and nephews.

Dave is preceded in death by his mother Patricia Petersen. Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care Burial & Cremation Services of Annandale.
