David M. Rexroad, 70, of Champaign passed away at 9:42 p.m. on Friday, May 10, 2019 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at First Baptist Church in Mahomet, 402 S. Elm St. Pastor Brian Romanowski will officiate. David (Biscuit) was born on January 27, 1949 in Champaign to parents Harry and Hazel (Abrams) Rexroad.

They preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death was his brother Jim Rexroad. On November 15, 1970 David married Mary June Bushman in Bondville, she survives.

Also surviving are their children; Calvin A. Rexroad of Champaign and Carla R. Rexroad of Urbana, two grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Siblings; Wanda Byers, Paul Rexroad, Bud Rexroad, Bob Rexroad, Mary Kirkham, Ina Gerdes, Leland Rexroad, Gerald Rexroad and Jeff Rexroad also survive him. Biscuit was an Aircraft Maintenance Specialist for the United States Air Force, being honorably discharged in 1969.

He was a heavy equipment operator for Cross Construction for thirty-two years before retiring. He was a member of the IUOE Local 841 and a member of First Baptist church in Mahomet. Memorial Contributions may be made to David’s family to help with final expenses.
