DAVID D. MESTER David D. Mester, 76, of Quincy passed away at 2:25 a.m. on Tuesday (May 14, 2019) in North Adams Home. He was born on February 25, 1943 in Quincy, a son of Dale E. and Angela Louise Spilker Mester. He married Joyce Larenson on February 11, 1967 in Palmyra, MO.

She survives. David loved hunting, fishing, camping and a special dog, Abby. He was a foreman for Gardner-Denver for 30 1/2 years until his retirement in 1998.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce; a brother Stephen E. Mester (Joy) of Quincy; several nieces and nephews and brothers and sisters in-law. David was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter Regina Beth Mester in 1983; and an infant sister Peggy Lee Mester. Graveside services will be held Friday morning at 11:00 a.m. in Greenmount Cemetery with Russell Hess and Rev.

Walt Wilcoxson officiating. Visitation will be held Friday morning from 10:00 a.m. in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Quincy Humane Society or to the Donor’s Choice.
