Obituary for David Edward Walton David Edward Walton January 19, 1947 – October 8, 2018 Dave was born in Bozeman, Montana to Les and Virginia (Jinny) Walton. He grew up on a ranch in the Bridger Canyon area where he developed his love of hunting and fishing. After a short term in the US Navy he returned to Bozeman and went to work.

The job he spoke of most was on the paving crew putting new streets in at the airport. In the late 1980’s he answered a call for help from his mother to assist her with a broken arm and moved to Dillon, MT. Here he continued his love of hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife Ava of Dillon, MT; brothers Mike (Patsy) Walton of Newport, NC, and Steve (Linda) Walton of Billings, MT; and sister Linda Walton Messerly of Talladega, AL. Children Dan, Michelle, Jammie, Tina and Kim along with 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Numerous nieces and nephews.
