Dave Fry, 63, of Lake Odessa passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at the Blodgett Campus of Spectrum Health System after a lengthy battle with COPD. He was born on September 29, 1955 in Hasting, to Vern Goodenough and Laura Fry. Spent his working life as a mechanic and retired from USF Holland.

Dave enjoyed spending time at home especially working in his backyard with Mary, where they’d have large family gatherings. He leaves behind: his wife of 45 years Mary, children; Amy Fry, Matthew Fry and Mandy Fry, granddaughter Madison, siblings; Darlene, Sharon, Marlene, Patty, Janet, Gloria, Bea, Sue, Brenda, Terry, Rick, Robert, Jeff, Scott and Verne, along with many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by: his parents, son Adam Fry, sister Verna and brother Mark.

Graveside services will be held May 18, 2019 at 10 am at Lakeside Cemetery with military honors. A reception will be held at Cunningham Acres start at 11am on May 18, 2019. Memorials can be given VFW Post 4461 in Lake Odessa, MI.
