David H. Lowe 77, of Salesville, formerly of New Carlisle passed away Saturday, September 15, 2018. He was born August 20, 1941 in Spencer, WV, the son of the late Frederick and Hazel Lowe. David was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving in Vietnam and a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, New Carlisle.

He is preceded in death by his daughter Kelly Little; brothers Ethan and Gordon Lowe; and sister Samuella Lepter. David is survived by his wife of 40 years Dorothy L. Lowe; children Gary (Cherry) Fenton, David Lowe, Jr., Dale Lowe, Neva Lowe, Frederick (Jeanette) Lowe, Michael (Sonya) Shaffer, Amanda (Kevin) LaVey and Amber (Matt) Roush; brother-in-law Doug Lepter; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A funeral service to honor David will be Saturday at 5:00 PM in Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home, with visitation from 3-5 PM.
