Obituary for David Jewel Baxter David Jewel Baxter, 77 of Shepherdsville passed away on Friday, October 19, 2018 at his home. David retired in 2000 from LG&E where he worked for 41 years in maintenance. He was an avid hunter and bass fisherman.

He was preceded in death by his parents Glendon Marshall and Lucille Johnson. David is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Doris Baxter; his children James David Baxter (Becky) of San Antonio, TX, Glen Baxter (Christy) of Shepherdsville, Janice Baxter of Shepherdsville, Johnny Baxter (Bobbi) of Shepherdsville, Troy McNutt of Shepherdsville and LeAnn Young of Shepherdsville; his siblings Lloyd Baxter of Zion, KY, Rick Baxter of Newburg, IN, and Barbara Whitman of Niagara, KY; along with 9 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. The Baxter family would like to give a special thank you to Hosparus for their loving care and support during this time.
