Obituary for David Larry Thompson David Larry Thompson, 67, of Paducah, passed away at 3:10 pm on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at his residence. Mr. Thompson was a Painter for the Local 500 of Paducah and of the Christian faith. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Mary Lou (Noe) Thompson of Paducah; one daughter, Crystal D. (Anthony Gray) Thompson of Boaz; one brother, Danny Ray Thompson of Paducah; one step brother, Gill Parks of Paducah; one sister, Sharon D. Thompson (Charles) Schnaare of Brookport, IL; two grandchildren, Taegan (David Austin) Thompson of Paducah, Tyler (Dennis Ramage) Raker of Reidland; three great grandchildren, Bella Flores, David Lee Flores, Grace Thomas; one aunt, Helen McCarty of Sharpe; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, David Lee Thompson; stepmother, Aliene Brown Thompson; mother, Thelma R. Hardin Jeffers; Stepfather, Johnny Jeffers; son, Larry Dale Thompson; nephew, Terry Dean Baker. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Hughes Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Rocky Hill officiating.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Saturday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions made to Lourdes Hospice, PO Box 7100, Paducah, KY 42002-7100. You may leave a message of sympathy or light a memorial candle online at www.
