OBITUARY David Lawrence Chu January 7, 1949 – December 4, 2018 David Lawrence Chu passed away on December 4, 2018 in Houston, Texas, at the age of 69. He was a devoted husband and a loving father, son, and brother. David was an information systems architect for many companies, including Lederle (later American Cyanamid, later American Home Products), Sandoz (later Novartis), and the International Monetary Fund.

He was predeceased by his father, Chieh “Jay” Chu; sister, Helen Wagner (née Chu), and son James Chu. He is survived by his mother, Kwen-Hwa Chu (née Fei); his sister, Harriet Chu Abramson; his wife, Cristy (née Sung); and his sons, Lawrence and Andrew and daughter-in-law Shana (née Kim). Visitation will take place at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home at 9am on Sunday December 9th followed by a funeral service at 10 am.
