Obituary for David Lee Whitaker David Lee Whitaker, 56, of Monroe and Waxhaw, passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at Hospice of Union County. Born March 31, 1956 to J.W. and Helen Elizabeth Whitaker, was preceded in death by both parents, a brother, Jerrett Wayne Whitaker, and sisters, Debbie Hope Whitaker and Janet Gail Byrd. David is survived by his Children David Lee Jr. and Jamie Wageman.

Also by sister, Sylvia Anne Whitaker Eason, brothers, Billy Charles Whitaker and Douglas Ralph Whitaker, and sisters, Tangia Whitaker Hawkins and Shannon Serena Whitaker; Also nieces and nephews, O. Chad Eason, Penny Eason Helms; Brandon, Justin and Jessica Alexander; Hope, Jeremy, and Erin Crouch, Beth Gatlin; Christopher and Dalton Whitaker . Numerous great nieces and nephews. The family will receive visitors at the home of Chad Eason on Saturday February 20th from 12-3.
