A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held in the chapel of Providence United Methodist Church on Sunday, April 17, 2016 at 3:00 PM. The church is located at 2810 Providence Road in Charlotte, 28211.

Following the service, there will be a reception for receiving of family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Union County, 700 W. Roosevelt Blvd. , Monroe, NC 28110.
