Obituary for Louise Vernie Coleman Louise Vernie Stanfield Coleman, 88, of Charlotte, died Sunday, September 23, 2018, at the Huntersville Care and Rehabilitation Facility in Huntersville. Louise was born in Mecklenburg County on July 21, 1930, the daughter of Rufus and Ethel Ford Stanfield. She grew up in Mecklenburg County and worked many jobs including Walmart Greeter, Textile Engraver for ABC Textile Engraving and Krispy Kreme Doughnuts.

When not working, Louise enjoyed working puzzles, playing solitaire on the phone, and spending time on Facebook. Most of all, she loved the time spent with family and friends and she will be missed by all who knew her. Louise is survived by her children: a son, Terry (wife Toni) Polly of Charlotte and their children: Angela, Alysia and Amanda; a son, Mike (wife Sabrina) Polly of Charlotte and their children: Jake and Erin; and a daughter, Judy (husband Steve) Kerns of Charlotte and their daughter Lindsey.

She is further survived by two more grandchildren, Roger and Lynn Baruth; a brother, Everette Stanfield of Milton, FL; and a sister, Jennie Adams of Greer, SC Louise is further survived by numerous other family members and friends. She was preceded by her parents and a daughter, Brenda. Louise’s family has given the family of Lowe-Neddo Funeral Home the privilege of caring for them.
