A veteran of the United States Navy, serving during Vietnam, he was also a Baptist. He was a Policeman for 23 years St. Petersburg. David is survived by his Wife of 29 years; children, Son, Troy Sackreiter; Daughter, Lora Strickland; Stepson, Robert Richards; Stepdaughter, Elizabeth Pasquale; Stepbrother, Dennis Sackreiter; Stepsister, Susan Jones; 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
