Runion, age 54, of Snover, MI passed away with family by his side Monday, May 13, 2019 at United Hospice Service of Marlette Regional Hospital. He was born April 17, 1965 in Mt. Clemens, MI the son of Lyle Runion and Judy (Derrick) Hampton.

David attended Marlette Community Schools from 1978 to 1983 but graduated from Anchor Bay High School in New Baltimore, MI with the Class of 1984. He married Robbin Campbell October 12, 2013 in Snover, MI. David previously worked in the automotive industry but currently was employed as the Frozen Food Manager at Walmart in Sandusky, MI.

He loved spending time with family and friends, animal watching, fishing and mowing his lawn. David is survived by his wife, Robbin; two daughters, Tricia and Kayla Campbell; his mother, Judy (Duane) Hampton; two sisters, Tina Runion and Mary (Jayson) Beadle; three nephews; one niece; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and his mother-in-law, Patricia Campbell. He was preceded in death by his father, Lyle Runion; and uncle, Russ Bennett.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1 PM Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at Marsh Funeral Chapel – Marlette with Pastor’s George Ayoub and Mike Hollenbeck officiating. The family will receive visitors from 11 AM until time of the service. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Family Discretionary Fund.
